Following is a list of (parapharased) questions or suggestions from viewers of this site:
----------
1. Can you offer a reference or study Bible?
Three issues come to mind:
copyright - Some reference notes, such as the notes from the 1917 Scofield Bible, are in the public domain and could be used. Cross-references and other materials, however, may be copyrighted.
formatting - A study Bible in a traditional format would require something like two columns for Scripture text, a third column for references and single-column sections at the bottom of pages for notes. To my knowledge, formatting this way would require individual formatting of each page to place the references and notes properly. Section breaks to accomplish this would prevent text from automatically flowing from one page to another, preventing easy reformatting of text size and margins (one of my criteria).
time - Copying and placing notes page-by-page would require more time than I have available.
I may, however, try to offer material such as Scofield's notes in separate text files - viewers could download this text and experiment with integrating it into the KJV text as they like. Such a "building block" approach is more in keeping with the spirit of this project - the Word files offered here are printable as-is, but I'm particularly interested in users customizing files to meet their own needs.

2. Is the text accurate?
A reasonable amount of checking and proofreading of the Scripture text has not revealed any errors. The source text was downloaded from the Internet and was, I trust, thoroughly proofread before I obtained it. I have checked several passeges and am using this text in my own studies and so far have found the text to be accurate. Also, so far no other users have reported errors in the Scripture text. (Issues with italics, capitalization and punctuation in the Epistle Dedicatory were brought to my attention and updates have been made. The Dedicatory was copied from a different source than the Scripture text, so the Scripture text is not suspect.)
There are a few minor word differences between the KJV text used by Cambridge and that used by Oxford. Of the differences that I'm aware of, the files on this site follows the Cambridge KJV text.
That said, readers who notice errors are requested to contact me and I will make and post corrections. As the files are modifiable, users may make corrections in their own copies immediately.

3. Can you email unZIPed (uncompressed) files to me?
Some users may not have software on their computers to unZIP the files from this site. There are two issues around emailing uncompressed files:
size - The Word and text files containing the entire Bible are very large, too large to email to users with free email accounts such as Yahoo Mail. (The Word file is over 5MB, but a free Yahoo account mailbox will only accommodate 4MB of mail.) Even without mailbox size restrictions, many email systems bar large attachment files.
time - Smaller files with individual books could be emailed, but this would entail many rounds of mailing a few files, making sure they were received and removed from the mail server, mailing more, etc.
However, the Old Paths Baptist Institute of the Bible web site offers uncompressed versions of these files for downloading. Alternately, there are free utilities available for most computer platforms for unZIPing compressed files, and having this capability is quite useful when making use of resources from the Internet. If you have difficulty acquiring these files in a usable form or locating unZIP software, please contact me.
